Graduating from ITT tech in 1992, then continuing education at Metro State College in Denver in 1998 and in between the years working with some of the largest engineering consulting companies in the world, Thorne M Clark IV established the idea of a unique drafting and design company with actual real world knowledge and skills of the industries for companies with the need of additional superior drafting and design support. 

Processing the idea for years Mountain Pine Design Works was established in 2004 as a part time company as Thorne worked full time for a local soils engineering firm in Steamboat Springs, CO. The move was made to full time operation in October 2007. Providing services to Architects, Civil Engineering Companies, and Steel Fabricators at any location on site or off with the knowledge needed was a priority Mountain Pine Design Works wanted to convey that location was never an issue allowing companies to save time and money.

Since then Mountain Pine Design Works has grown and developed into providing its clients with outstanding AutoCAD graphics support at any location throughout the world. Thorne's experience comes from design and drafting work in South America, Indonesia and throughout the United States.
